The association has a bike fleet available for its members. The quality and the type of bikes have been chosen to meet the needs of all kind of riders: from the expert to the tourist looking for an occasional easy riding.
CITY BIKE
If you want to ride without caring about the difficulties of the itinerary, focusing on the landscape and not on your handlebar or on the road, choose these bikes and ask our staff for more information about less busy itineraries in the countryside or in the historical center.
ROAD BIKE
The range of road/racing bike includes Ktm and Focus drop handlebar bikes and Torpado up handlebar bikes for those who prefer a “touring” posture.
We suggest this type of bikes to ride along Sicily Bike Routes itineraries in a more sporty way, covering long distances, having a look at the chronometer and maybe even trying to be a climber.
Availability of Benelli bike gears: handlebar bag, smartphone holder case and handlebar items, Garmin gps device.
KTM strada 800: Selle Italia saddle and hydroformed aluminum frame.
MOUNTAIN BIKE
Mountain bikes brands available are Ktm, Focus and Torpado. Ktm and Focus have lighter hydro-formed aluminum frames, disk brakes and higher quality parts. They are more comfortable for off-roads or longer rides as well as for discovering the dirty roads, single tracks and mule tracks described on our itineraries. For the more demanding, carbon frame are also available.
Torpado mountain bikes, with disk brakes, are perfect for less arduous but still off-roads rides, like itineraries that mix countryside roads with panoramic paths.
TREKKING BIKE
If you plan a journey of more days, trekking bikes are the perfect choice. Kalkoff trekking bikes are available in man/woman frame, hybrid wheels, suspension fork and strong racks, easy to be equipped with the following Benelli gears: handlebar bag, smartphone holder case and handlebar items, Garmin gps devices and trunk bags. The comfortable posture allows you to ride for long distances on roads but also on dirty paths. If you prefer, Torpado bikes are available with the same features but lower quality.
E-BIKE
Torpado e-bikes, with man/woman frame, are designed as touring bikes, with racks, suspension fork and strong hybrid tires. Their batteries can cover 50/60 km of hilly routes.
These pedal assist bikes are thought for everybody and for every age. With a minimum riding effort you can fully enjoy Sicily Bike Routes itinerary, even in the hilliest routes and for occasional bikers.
The pedal assist system allows to face challenging hills without breath efforts.
You can enjoy the beautiful views while chatting with your fellow riders.
